The Daughters of the Redeemer sisters held a digital media workshop at the Generalate in Lusaka on Saturday, 1st May 2021. The workshop was facilitated by TipangaDIGITAL Solutions and looked at a number of topics which included the benefits and challenges of digital media and the importance of branding for an organisation. The media company will be responsible for developing the website for the congregation and the workshop was an opportunity to understand what digital media is all about and generate ideas for the website.

The facilitating team emphasized that every organisation be it religious needed to market itself in a unique and strategic way and share their story. The website would help to state the core ideas and purpose of the sisters and help to communicate consistently to promote awareness, trust and understanding among the stakeholders.

The sisters said they looked forward to the completion of the website because it would give an opportunity of telling the unique story of their foundation, stating their fundamental purpose and principles which are to radiate Christ’s goodness to the people, to die to give life, to be mothers of thousands and to practice the silent virtues.

They also added that the website and the other digital platforms would connect and build communities among the sisters by sharing the way they impact God’s people in their apostolates and learning from each other thereby motivating and inspiring others positively.
